 Brothers and Sisters,

I am sad to share the news that the University of Rhode Island notified employees on June 9, 2020 that the W. Alton Jones Campus will be closing. No timetable for closure has been provided at this time.

As the threat of COVID-19 continues to mount and to spread throughout the world it is important to remain vigilant and to practice proper preventative care to help avoid the spread of COVID-19 as well as other illnesses.  Please see the links below for additional guidance and information.

RI Council 94 would like to commend Local 528 on its continued work in helping those in need in the community.

Local 528 recently held its annual Christmas Basket Raffle, which is held each year to benefit the Johnnycake Center located in Peacedale, RI. The goal of the Johnnycake Center is to help provide for those in need within the community with such things as food, clothing, financial assistance, various school supplies, and personal care and household items.
