A message from Mary B. Riley, President of the Scott London/Chris Riley Memorial Scholarship Fund:

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Scott London/Chris Riley Memorial Scholarship Fund!  The main fundraiser is an annual golf tournament held on the first Monday of August.  This was the 18th year that the tournament was held at the Cranston Country Club and a total of six $4,000 scholarships were awarded.

As the holiday season approaches RI Council 94 wants to encourage all members to purchase Union Made Goods and Services.  It is important that we continue to support our Union Brothers and Sisters across the State.  For a detailed Directory of Union Goods and Services throughout Rhode Island please

The Local 528 scholarship awards for the Fall 2019 semester are now available!  This year there are a total of six $500.00 awards.  There will be an award for High School Seniors handed out in May 2020 for use in the Fall 2020 semester.

Members of RI Council 94 got to enjoy a day at McCoy Stadium back on June 9, 2019. The festivities of the day included a BBQ and a chance for all the children in attendance to run the bases!

Please continue to check back here for announcements of future events for members sponsored by RI Council 94.

Tonight, Thursday August, 8, 2019, President Steve Shears of Local 314 and Attorney/Sr. Staff Representative Nicole Barnard will be testifying at the meeting of the House Oversight Committee at the Rhode Island State House.  Despite two years of hard work,  only minimal improvements in security have been implemented at the Rhode Island Training School and safety is still a major concern.
