On October 9, 2021, Local 528 had the honor of handing out $3,000 worth of scholarships to Local 528 members in support of their children who are attending Colleges and Universities in furtherance of their education.

$500 was awarded to John Maher on behalf of his daughter

$500 was awarded to Jen Fogarty on behalf of her son

$500 was awarded to Salina Lavoie on behalf of her son

$500 was awarded to Ed Berube on behalf of his daughter

$500 was awarded to Frank Favino on behalf of his daughter

In our efforts to make this year better for those who are struggling to make ends meet we are asking for help with some items that are high on the Fall/Winter need list at the Jonnycake Center.

A message from Mary B. Riley, President of the Scott London/Chris Riley Memorial Scholarship Fund:

For all Local 528 members, the application for the 2021-2022 Local 528 Scholarship is now live. This year there will be six awards of $500.00 each. The High School senior award will be given in May 2022 for use in the Fall.
