RI Council 94 would like to commend Local 528 on its continued work in helping those in need in the community.
Local 528 recently held its annual Christmas Basket Raffle, which is held each year to benefit the Johnnycake Center located in Peacedale, RI. The goal of the Johnnycake Center is to help provide for those in need within the community with such things as food, clothing, financial assistance, various school supplies, and personal care and household items.
The Local 528 Charity Committee, plans to present a check in the amount of $1,200 to the Center on Tuesday December 10.
