*Higher Ed budget hearing House Finance Committee hearing scheduled for Thursday March 23rd rise of the House
*2.5% wage increase effective June 18th 2023/ Current contract expires July 1st 2024. Anticipate beginning negotiations with the state this summer
*A heartfelt thank you to the Charity Committee for their efforts to recognize and remember our union brother Steve Grimes who sadly passed away on march 3rd. Thank you to every member who contributed towards the raffle. As a result a donation of $500 was made to the SK ELks Hall (where Steve was an active member)
