It is with great sadness that I regret to inform you of the passing of Brother Peter Susi, 61, who passed on Friday, April 3, 2020.

Brother Susi was a dedicated, and hardworking union member of Local 2881, Department of Environmental Management, RI Council 94, AFSCME and served as Treasurer for his Local.

Peter worked in the Division of Agriculture over 20 years.

He will be sorely missed by everyone.

It is with great sadness that I regret to inform you of the passing of Brother Edward J. McGovern, 63, who passed on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
 
Brother McGovern retired from the RI Department of Environmental Management as a Senior Forest Ranger after over 30 years of State service.
It is with great sadness that I regret to inform you of the passing of Sister Connie (Goodmann) Dube, 66, who passed on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
 
She retired in August of 2018.

It is with great sadness that I regret to inform you of the passing of Joan A. Vivequin who passed on February 29, 2020. Joan was the mother-in-law of Xenophon “Xeno” Stavros, President of Local 2671, Lincoln Schools.

It is with great sadness that I regret to inform you of the passing of Claire P. Lataille, 78, who passed on February 6, 2020. Claire was the mother of Robert Doire, President Local 3851. Claire was employed as a nurse’s aide at The Friendly Home for over 30 years before retiring.

She will be sorely missed by everyone.

It is with great sadness that I regret to inform you of the passing of Brother Albert J. Travison, 67, who passed on January 27, 2020.

Brother Albert was a dedicated, hardworking union member of RI Council 94, University of Rhode Island, Local 528, for 22 years before retiring in 2018. Prior to that Brother Albert also served as sergeant of arms and steward at the Medical Center, Local 1350.

He will be sorely missed by everyone.

It is with great sadness that I regret to inform you of the passing of Brother William Menard, Sr. who passed on January 31, 2020.

Brother Menard was a dedicated and hardworking member of Local 2409, Deputy Sheriffs for 25 years. After his retirement he joined the Rhode Island Retired Deputy Sheriffs Association where he was the Vice President. Mr. Menard was also a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.

Mr. Menard will be sorely missed by everyone.
