Council 94 Training

Steward Training:

Council 94 offers an intense two day steward training course which has been receiving rave reviews from participants who have been long time members and members who are relatively new. Both have expressed their pleasure with the professional presentation by the AFSCME International instructor, George Embleton, Field Education Coordinator AFSCME International, and the certificate upon completion of the two day course.

Steward Training is held at RI Council 94 headquarters located at 1179 Charles Street, North Providence, Rhode Island 02904.

Leadership Training:

A comprehensive training course for new officers, executive board members or members who may be interested in becoming involved in their local. This course offers guidance to the participants on how to perform your duties, how to participate in a meeting and your role as a union member and officer.

AFSCME Leadership Academy:

A variety of online interactive and self paced courses available to all RI Council 94 members.
