Steering Committee

Council 94’s Political & Legislative Action Teams / PEOPLE Steering Committee was established in 2006 to provide a democratic and transparent endorsement process.

The Political Action Teams/People Steering Committee officers include a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary.

The PATs / Legislative Action Steering Committee consists of 26 municipal and state union members from throughout Rhode Island.

The duties of the Steering Committee include: assisting with the development of a candidate questionnaire; interviewing candidates for Congressional, General, state legislative offices; and building political power within every local union of Council 94.
